Full description

Oby Catamaran to Isla de Lobos

Four hours under sail from Corralejo to Isla de Lobos, with a maximum of 21 people on board. Twenty-one is a number one crew can look after: there is room on the nets, and the kit is free when you want it.

They anchor in one of the islet's coves, and that is where the day happens: swimming in clear water, snorkelling, stand up paddle and kayak all from the boat, wetsuits if you want one, and lunch on deck.

Food and drink

Paella, salad and seasonal fruit, and the drinks are included for the whole trip: beer, cava, soft drinks and water.

Times

Morning 10:00 to 14:00, or afternoon 14:30 to 18:30.

There is hotel pick-up in Corralejo, and a coach from Caleta de Fuste, El Cotillo, Origomare and Lajares on set days, so where you are staying decides which days you can go.

This trip anchors off Lobos rather than landing on it. If you want to walk on the islet, the Freebird and the ferry both go ashore.

We sailed across to Lobos and got straight into the water, which was clear and full of fish. The crew are good fun and always ready to help, and the catamaran is a beauty.

Aug 2026

Everything was well organised and the crew behaved like professionals: attentive to us for the whole outing and always smiling. There were nineteen of us and there was still room to spare.

Jul 2026

A fine, well-kept catamaran. The crew really do their best to keep it comfortable and pleasant, even when someone gets seasick.

A fine trip out to Lobos. You stay aboard throughout, but there is no shortage of seating, the roof included, and enough time to swim, kayak and paddle. It was chilly for us, though nobody can order the weather, and the crew, the food and the paella were all excellent; only the transfer drags.

Oct 2025

Nothing at all to fault here. The staff were incredible, there are paddle boards, kayaks and snorkels for everyone, room to sit wherever you like and several chances to get in the water, and the seafood paella and fruit they served were gorgeous.

Sep 2025

The boat pulls up off Lobos, where the water is magnificent, and you can snorkel, paddle board or take a kayak. Drinks keep coming, the paella is delicious and there are plenty of corners of the boat to stretch out in. A particular word for the crew, unusually kind and attentive to everything.

What a beautiful catamaran, and the crew were friendly with it: drinks came round and there was a lovely Canarian lunch on board. We had a fine time in the water with the kayak and the paddle board. Worth doing.
