Full description
Whale and dolphin watching off Fuerteventura
Two hours on the water off the north of the island, aboard the Celia Cruz, a 20-metre catamaran with an indoor and an outdoor deck and 16 underwater viewing windows. Boarding is at Corralejo at 9:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and you are back in at 12:00. One drink is included.
The channel between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote is deep water, which is why the boat works this stretch. Cetaceans are wild animals and nobody can promise you a sighting, here or anywhere else, so treat the two hours and the volcanic coastline as the trip and a sighting as the good day.
Two versions
From Corralejo it is 45 euros for adults and 29 for children: board at 9:45, back at 12:00, done.
From Caleta de Fuste it is 49 and 32, and the coach turns it into a day out: after the boat you get two hours in Corralejo for the old town, the harbour and the dune beaches, with the coach home leaving the Corralejo dock at 14:15.
