Scandal Dinner Show in Tenerife: a cabaret and burlesque evening
The Scandal Dinner Show is one of the few proper adult evening shows in Tenerife. It mixes live cabaret, burlesque, comedy and singing with a five-course tasting menu and drinks, and it runs on Friday and Saturday nights in the Las Olas showroom at the GF Victoria 5-star hotel in Costa Adeje. It is closer to a Las Vegas-style cabaret than a standard tourist dinner show: smaller groups, acts performed live between the courses, and food from a kitchen that also runs the hotel's standalone restaurant.
What the evening is like
Doors open at 20:00 and the show starts at 20:30, finishing around 23:30. The acts are interleaved with the courses, so dinner and show happen at the same time rather than one after the other. The headline numbers land during the main course, between roughly 21:30 and 22:30. Hosts Dita Dubois and Eva Harrington run the night in English and Spanish.
The dinner and drinks
Every ticket includes a five-course tasting menu of Asian-Mediterranean fusion cooking, along with unlimited house wine, beer, water and soft drinks. The menu changes periodically. Vegetarian is offered as a standard alternative, and vegan, gluten-free and other adaptations are available if you flag them at least 24 hours before the show. Premium spirits, cava and champagne are charged separately unless they come as part of a group package.
Ticket tiers and seating
There are two tiers. Gold is a shared table of 4 to 8 guests further from the stage. Platinum is a private table for your group of 2 to 8 guests, right at the front, where the performers interact most. Both include the same menu and drinks.
Getting there and who it is for
GF Victoria sits next to Plaza del Duque in Costa Adeje. Free public parking is available near the Plaza del Duque shopping centre, about 5 minutes' walk away, and the hotel has its own paid underground parking. The show is adults only, minimum age 16, with a smart-casual dress code that is enforced at the door. Couples make up about half the audience, and the venue is a popular choice for hen parties and birthdays.
Booking and cancellation
The room has limited capacity and popular dates fill up 2 to 4 weeks ahead, so book in advance using the calendar above. Free cancellation applies up to 48 hours before the show for bookings of up to 6 guests; groups of 7 or more guests can cancel free up to 4 days before. The entrance to the show is signposted from the hotel lobby. Doors close at 20:30 when the show starts, so arrive in good time.

The show really appealed to me and it is all done to a high standard. The food was tasty as well, so the evening worked out.

You have dinner and a show and do not need to think about anything else all evening. The acts are varied and fit the courses well; the work behind it shows and the atmosphere never drops.

Racy, wild and scandalous in the best sense of the word. The food is excellent, the waiters never let a glass run dry and the acts blew me away. If you are on Tenerife, do not miss it.
An evening well spent. The five course meal was superb, wine and beer come with it and the staff kept a close eye on the table; the dancers and singers were fabulous, with two or three standing out, and there is more acrobatics than dancing. Somehow everyone who works there, waiters included, is beautiful.

This is a dinner show not to skip on Tenerife; we came from the north for it. The performers put on something special, the food is tasty, and anyone who flags a dietary restriction in advance is taken care of without fuss. Glasses were topped up all evening, everything ran well, and we would book the platinum seats again.

You are handed a glass of cava while you wait to go in, and the room is dressed to match the show. The performance was superb and the food very good, with staff happy to swap a dish that was not to your taste. Reviews say it is all in Spanish, but it ran in English too.
