🎭 Scandal Burlesque Dinner Show in Tenerife

The Scandal Burlesque Dinner Show is one of the few proper adult evening shows in Tenerife: a mix of live cabaret, burlesque, comedy, drag, acrobatics and live singing, paired with a 5-course tasting menu and drinks. It runs in the Las Olas showroom at GF Victoria 5* in Costa Adeje, hosted by Dita Dubois and Eva Harrington.

It is closer to a Las Vegas-style cabaret than a tourist dinner show. Smaller groups, real performers, food that holds up against the standalone restaurant at the hotel. If you want a loud party with shots, this is not it. If you want a stylish night out with food, wine and a show that has some bite, it works.

The menu changes periodically. The current menu features Asian-Mediterranean fusion cooking. Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are available on request when you book.

• Tofu ceviche with avocado cream and tropical fruits
• Coconut vichyssoise with caramelised nuts and a hint of dill
• Zucchini and seitan paupiette infused with Martini, served over vegetarian Tom Yum broth with crispy vegetables
• Vegetable medallions with low-temperature carrot purée, mango chutney, toasted pineapple and homemade BBQ sauce
• The Fruit of Sin (apple-shaped trompe-l’œil dessert)

Vegan, gluten-free and allergy-friendly versions are available if you flag your requirements at the time of booking. The kitchen needs at least 24 hours to prepare specific adaptations.

💎 Platinum

Best seats in the house, right at the front. Private table (not shared) for your group of 2 to 8. Same menu and drinks plus extra attention from the performers, who interact more with front-row tables.

🕰️ How the evening runs

• 20:00: doors open, guests are seated, welcome drinks served
• 20:30: show starts, first acts run alongside the early courses
• 21:30 to 22:30: main course, peak of the show with the headline numbers
• 22:45: dessert and final acts
• 23:30: show ends, the Skybar upstairs stays open for guests who want a nightcap

Performances are interleaved with the courses, so dinner and show happen at the same time rather than one after the other.

👗 Dress code

Smart-casual or elegant-casual. Long trousers required for men. No swimwear, no sandals or flip-flops, no men’s shorts. Sports gear is not allowed. Dress codes here are enforced at the door, this is not the kind of place where you can argue your way in wearing beach clothes. Cocktail dresses, smart shirts and dress shoes are standard. Locals tend to overdress slightly rather than under.

🚗 Getting there and parking

GF Victoria sits in Costa Adeje, next to Plaza del Duque. Free public parking is available near the Plaza del Duque shopping centre, about 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel entrance. The hotel has its own paid underground parking if you prefer to park on site.

Taxis from anywhere in south Tenerife (Playa de las Américas, Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, El Duque) cost between €8 and €20 each way. The hotel reception can call you a taxi at the end of the night.

The venue handles private bookings from 30 to 150 guests. For hen parties specifically, the show is a popular pick because the cabaret content is mature without crossing into anything embarrassing for the bride. Add-ons available for private groups include:

📜 Booking and cancellation policy

Standard bookings (up to 6 guests): free cancellation up to 48 hours before showtime. Within 48 hours, no refund.

Group bookings (7 or more guests): free cancellation up to 4 days before the show. Cancellations made 2 to 4 days before the event get a 50% refund. Within 48 hours, no refund.

Late arrival: doors close at 20:30 when the show starts. Arrivals after this time may miss the first course and the opening number.

Is Scandal Dinner Show suitable for couples?
Yes. Couples make up about half the audience on any given night. The show has a sensual side but it’s playful rather than crude, and the elegant venue keeps it on the right side of stylish.

Is it appropriate for a hen party or birthday?
Hen parties are a big chunk of the audience and the staff knows how to handle them. Add-ons include cava, Scandal tote bag for the bride, and a reserved section if you book in advance. Birthdays get the same treatment.

Can children attend?
No. The minimum age is 16. The show contains adult humour and burlesque content that isn’t suitable for younger guests.

What time does the show end?
Around 23:30. The Skybar upstairs at GF Victoria stays open afterwards for guests who want to keep the night going with cocktails.

What is the difference between Standard, Gold and Platinum tickets?
Standard is shared table seating further from the stage. Gold is closer seating, still shared. Platinum is a private table for your group at the front, with the most performer interaction. All three include the same menu and drinks.
