Water sports in Fuerteventura: the marina at Caleta de Fuste

Everything here is booked by the hour or by the ride, from the marina at Caleta de Fuste, on the east coast. The bay is shallow and sheltered, which suits the kit that needs flat water.

At the marina in Caleta de Fuste

Puerto Castillo is the quay for most of this list. The jet ski circuit is twenty minutes in a marked area with no licence needed, one or two riders per machine. The Crazy UFO is a towed inflatable, ten minutes of it. The floating aqua park is an inflatable assault course anchored off the beach, one hour a session, from age six and 110 cm, and it opens Wednesday to Sunday.

For something slower, the kayaks go out single or double, the paddle boards come with a starter briefing, and the pedal boat has a slide off the back and takes four. All three are hired for thirty minutes or an hour, daily from 10:00 to 17:00.

What to know before you book

Nothing on this page needs a licence or any experience. The jet skis are priced per machine, so two riders split one price. Everything that floats comes with a life jacket, and the sessions start with a briefing.

The wind on this coast tends to fill in as the day goes on, so the earlier slots are usually the calmer ones.
