Full description
The Obycat Experience
Most of the catamarans on this island sail out of Corralejo towards Isla de Lobos. This one does not. It leaves from the marina at Caleta de Fuste, on the east coast, hoists sail and runs down the coast to Pozo Negro, a working fishing village, where it anchors in the bay.
Four hours, and once the anchor is down the day is yours: snorkelling, a swim in the bay, or the deck and the sun.
Food and drink
Paella, salad, papas arrugadas with mojo and seasonal fruit, and the drinks are included from start to finish: beer, cava, soft drinks and water.

A fine catamaran with lovely spots to stretch out on, which suited my teenage daughters perfectly. The stop left plenty of time to snorkel and swim, lunch was excellent and the staff were friendly and quick to help. Worth it for a day on the water.
We went twice in a single week, me with my two children, because we liked it that much. The organisation and the team are sound, and the food was so good that my son went back for more. We had our own snorkel gear, but you can borrow it there.
Lovely people on board and the music was spot on. The snorkelling was great; the food was fine, though I would have liked a bit more choice.
We enjoyed ourselves. A catamaran is a fine way to get about on the water, and the staff were on the ball and looked after us.
The crew are smiling and kind. You sail out to a swimming spot, mask and snorkel handed out, and then it is time to eat: paella, salad, wrinkled potatoes with an excellent sauce, and fruit. Back to the harbour in the sun and the swell; one to do.
A very easy-going experience, with a crew who were good company and quick to pick up on what people wanted or needed. I would recommend it without reservation.
Crew, guide, food and drink were all superb. Pilot whales came within five metres of the boat, and at the snorkelling stop there were fish everywhere. We got talking to two other couples and ended up having tapas with them afterwards.
Rachel and her crew had everyone feeling welcome the moment we stepped aboard, and the mood stayed relaxed and cheerful the whole way. It was well planned too: a lovely sail down the coast, then time at anchor with paella, drinks that kept coming and snorkelling in clear water.
