We’re a local team based in Adeje, south Tenerife. Our office is at Calle El Sauce, 9, Locales 3, Urb. El Madroñal, open every day from 09:00 to 18:00. We started in the Canary Islands tourism industry in 2010 under the brand Tu Nido Tenerife and launched CanaryVIP to focus exclusively on excursions, tours and activities. We know the operators we work with personally because we live here and see them regularly.
It depends on when you’re visiting. During peak periods (July, August, Christmas, Easter, and Carnival in February) the most popular activities can fill up several days in advance. Boat trips (especially private charters and smaller catamarans), Teide guided tours, and premium add-ons like VIP cabanas at Siam Park tend to go first. Outside of those busy weeks, booking a day or two ahead is normally fine, but earlier is always safer if you have specific dates in mind.
Checkout is handled through Stripe and PayPal, both fully encrypted. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, and Revolut Pay. Some activities offer a deposit option so you can secure your spot now and pay the balance on the day. All prices are in euros.
Most activities include a collection service from set stops in Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos. The pickup point is usually a well-known landmark or bus stop near your accommodation, typically within a short walk. Your confirmation will include the exact location and time. If you’re staying outside the main tourist zone (Golf del Sur, Los Gigantes, Puerto de la Cruz), get in touch and we’ll let you know the nearest option.
Most activities offer a full refund with at least 48 hours notice. Some experiences with more complex logistics require 72 hours or more. The exact cancellation terms are shown on each activity page before you pay. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. If your plans change last minute, contact us anyway and we’ll try to move you to a different date where possible.
Yes. If you find the identical activity (same operator, same date, same inclusions) at a lower published price on another website, send it to us and we’ll match or beat it. Full details here.
If conditions make it unsafe to operate (typically rough seas for boat trips or severe weather for outdoor tours), the operator cancels and we contact you to rearrange for another date. If that’s not possible during your stay, you get a full refund. This only applies when the operator decides it’s unsafe, not for light cloud or a bit of breeze. Weather cancellations are uncommon in the south of Tenerife, where most activities are based.
Not always. We work directly with local operators, so each booking is manually confirmed with the provider before we send you final confirmation. For popular activities this usually happens within a few hours. For the fastest response, send us a WhatsApp message after booking. We also review all incoming bookings in the evening to catch late or next-day reservations.
Whale watching catamarans, Siam Park, Loro Parque, guided bus tours to Teide, and kayaking tours are all popular with families. Each activity page lists the minimum age and any restrictions. If you tell us the ages of your kids, we can suggest the best options for your group. Some water sports (jet ski, quad safari) have minimum age requirements of 16 or 18 for drivers, though children can often ride as passengers.
Yes. We select operators who respect the natural environment and local communities. For whale watching, all our partners carry the official Blue Boat certification. For land-based activities, we work with providers who follow responsible practices in protected areas like Teide and Anaga. The Canary Islands are home to ecosystems that exist nowhere else on earth, and we take that seriously.
