Full description

The ferry from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote

About 30 minutes from Corralejo, in the north of Fuerteventura, to Playa Blanca, in the south of Lanzarote, on the Líneas Romero fast ferry. Tickets are return or one way, in either direction, and there are five sailings a day each way.

Times

From Corralejo at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 17:30 and 19:30. From Playa Blanca at 9:30, 11:15, 12:45, 16:30 and 18:30. The booking panel shows the sailings for your date.

The ticket

On a return you choose the sailing out, and the way back is open. If you miss a boat, take the next one. Be at the quay 15 minutes before; boarding closes 10 minutes before each sailing. Your boarding pass arrives by email, to print or to show as a QR code.

Bring a valid passport. Spanish nationals can bring their DNI.

On board

Luggage up to 20 kg, surfboards and bikes can come. Pets travel free, in the lounge or on deck. There is free wifi, a bar and café, and toilets.

A day on Lanzarote, with the coach

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays the ticket also comes with a coach from Corralejo or Caleta de Fuste to the port. You sail at 10:30 and come back on the 16:30 from Playa Blanca. In between the day is yours: the seafront bars and restaurants of Playa Blanca, the beach of Playa Flamingo, or a hire car to Marina Rubicón, the Papagayo beaches or Timanfaya.

Children aged 3 to 11 pay a reduced fare, and under-3s travel free.
