Full description
The north of Lanzarote in a day
Lagomar, La Graciosa and Mirador del Río in one day, with the coach from your hotel, the entry tickets, the ferry and lunch included. The tour runs on Wednesdays.
Lagomar
The coach collects you between 9:00 and 10:00 in Puerto Calero, Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife or Costa Teguise and heads north. At 10:30 you reach Lagomar, the house of the actor Omar Sharif, built into a volcano with labyrinths and natural caves. You have 40 minutes inside.
La Graciosa
From Órzola the ferry leaves at 12:00 for La Graciosa, the small island off the north coast. Lunch is served on board at 12:30: paella, with sangria, beer, water and soft drinks. Then you have two hours free to walk the sand streets of Caleta de Sebo or go down to the beach. The ferry back leaves at 15:00.
Mirador del Río
On the way home the coach stops at Mirador del Río, the lookout designed by César Manrique, looking across to La Graciosa. Half an hour there, and then back to your hotel.
Worth knowing
The guide speaks Spanish, English, German or French. Carry your passport or ID card for the ferry, and wear comfortable shoes. Pick-up cannot be guaranteed for bookings made less than 24 hours ahead.
