Guided Route from Las Coloradas, Lanzarote
The south tip of Lanzarote is a natural monument called Los Ajaches: cliffs, coves and a row of small beaches with no road to them. The one guided trip we book here goes along it at water level.
Three hours from Las Coloradas, leaving at 10:00 from Monday to Saturday, with no experience needed. The kit comes out on the beach, the guide briefs the group on handling the kayak and the safety rules, and then the route works east into the coves, past a sea cave and along the beaches under the cliffs.
Halfway, everyone lands at Papagayo for a swim, a picnic and snorkelling, and anyone who has never snorkelled is shown how. Fruit, a chocolate bar and water come along for the stop. The way back carries on towards Punta de Papagayo, where the cliffs are at their highest, and turns for the beach.
Children from eight paddle their own kayak with the group. Younger ones from five ride in the middle of a triple kayak between two adults. The kayak, paddle, buoyancy aid, the guide, insurance and photographs and video of the morning are all in the price.
Swimwear under your clothes, sun cream, a hat that stays on, and shoes you can get wet. Everything else is handed out on the beach.
One departure a day and a small group, so it goes early in summer. Every booking comes with our Best Price Guarantee. To reach the same coast by boat, with lunch and a slide off the deck, see the boat trips in Lanzarote, or message us.
