Full description

The small Catlanza, hired whole out of Puerto Calero

The Catlanza VI is the smaller of the two Catlanza catamarans and she is never sold by the seat. Whoever books her has her for the four hours, up to fourteen guests, which is her maximum.

She sails from Puerto Calero on the south coast of Lanzarote, down to Papagayo, the best known beach on the island, inside the Los Ajaches natural park, and back.

Fourteen, and why that is the point

Fourteen is a group you arrived with. The deck holds your own people for the whole afternoon, which is a different day out from a seat on a boat carrying ninety.

That is also what makes her the sensible boat for a small group. The larger Catlanza VII is chartered too, but a party of six on her is paying for deck nobody is standing on.

How the rate works

The rate covers the boat and moves up a band as the group grows toward fourteen. Six of you or a full deck is the same booking; what changes is which band you fall into. The figure for your date and your group is the one shown in the booking panel.

The other boat

The Catlanza VII is the big one. She runs the shared four-hour departures to Papagayo, sold by the seat with lunch, an open bar and a return coach transfer included, and she is chartered whole for two hours or four for up to ninety: see the Catlanza catamaran trip.
