Full description

The ferry from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura

About 30 minutes across the strait from Playa Blanca, in the south of Lanzarote, to Corralejo, in the north of Fuerteventura, on the Líneas Romero fast ferry. Tickets are return or one way, in either direction, and there are five sailings a day each way.

Times

From Playa Blanca at 9:30, 11:15, 12:45, 16:30 and 18:30. From Corralejo at 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 17:30 and 19:30. The booking panel shows the sailings for your date.

The ticket

On a return you choose the sailing out, and the way back is open. If you miss a boat, take the next one. Be at the quay 15 minutes before; boarding closes 10 minutes before each sailing. Your boarding pass arrives by email, to print or to show as a QR code.

Bring a valid passport. Spanish nationals can bring their DNI.

On board

Luggage up to 20 kg, surfboards and bikes can come. Pets travel free, in the lounge or on deck. There is free wifi, a bar and café, and toilets.

With a coach from your hotel

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays the ticket also comes with a coach from the stop nearest your hotel to Playa Blanca. You sail at 9:30, have the day free on Fuerteventura, and come back on the 17:30 from Corralejo. On Fuerteventura you can head for the Corralejo dunes or the beaches of Flag Beach, El Moro and El Burro.

Children aged 3 to 11 pay a reduced fare, and under-3s travel free.

Hotel pick-up available from Playa Blanca, Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife, Costa Teguise.
