Full description

A silent electric catamaran for your group alone

La Santa Maria is a 14-metre electric catamaran that leaves from Puerto Calero, on the south coast of Lanzarote. On a private hire nobody else comes aboard: the boat, the skipper and the guide are yours, for up to 12 guests.

Whale and dolphin watching

About four hours in the open sea, looking for whales and dolphins. With no engine noise the boat moves quietly, a hydrophone lets you hear the animals underwater and a 360-degree camera shows what is happening below the surface. The waters off Lanzarote are home to bottlenose, common and Atlantic spotted dolphins, pilot whales and Bryde's whales, among others.

Or the sunset

2.5 hours along the south coast in the late afternoon, past Playa Quemada and the Femés mountains, as the sun goes down.

Getting there

Meet at pontoon F22 in Puerto Calero marina, 15 minutes before departure. The guide speaks English, Spanish and French.

The same boat, by the seat
