Jet ski circuit in the south of Gran Canaria

A marked circuit at Playa de Mogán, Taurito or Playa del Inglés, ridden with a qualified team watching the water the whole time. Fifteen or thirty minutes, one rider or two.

No licence is needed. You ride alone from 18. At 16 or 17 an adult has to be on the jet ski with you, plus written authorisation from a parent or guardian and that person's ID. Life jacket, free locker and an optional photo service come with it.

What it costs

Playa del Inglés is the cheapest: 50 euros for fifteen minutes and 80 for thirty. At Mogán and Taurito it is 50 and 90. A second rider on the same jet ski adds ten euros rather than doubling the price.

Standard or fast

There are two jet skis and you pick one when you book. Everything around them is the same: the same circuit, the same beaches, the same fifteen or thirty minutes, the same team watching.

The fast jet ski is 70 euros for fifteen minutes at Playa del Inglés and 100 for thirty; at Mogán and Taurito it is 80 and 110. A passenger adds twenty rather than ten.

That is about thirty euros more for the same time on the water. It is worth it if what you want out of the fifteen minutes is the acceleration.
