Dolphins and the Mogán market
Two things in one day. The boat leaves Puerto Rico and spends about two hours on the water looking for dolphins and whales, and then instead of turning round it puts you ashore at Puerto de Mogán, the prettiest village on the south coast.
There you have time for the weekly market and the coloured streets around the harbour. The coach picks you up at around 15:15 and brings you back, so the day is a loop rather than a return sail.
Five hours in total, 43 euros for adults and 28 for children from 2 to 12, under-2s free.
Sightings on this stretch are very likely but, as anywhere, not something anyone can promise.

Everything about it worked: the captain knew what he was doing and dolphins showed up again and again.
We watched dolphins and were then put ashore for the market at Mogán, which only runs on the one day of the week. Boat and crew were both excellent. If you are prone to seasickness, take a tablet before you sail and spare the crew the mopping up.
Lovely trip, and Miguel and the captain kept us entertained the whole way. Dolphins in good numbers too. It was the best day we had on Gran Canaria.
My day on the catamaran was a good one, with plenty of dolphins about. Thanks to Captain Domingo and the rest of those on board; we will be back.
Good outing, we came across dolphins, and the sea stayed calm the whole way, which was a bonus we had not counted on.
