Escape to Paradise: twenty-four hours on a yacht

The only boat we sell that you sleep on. You board at noon, the yacht is yours until eleven the next morning, and there is nobody else aboard but the two of you, the skipper and the stewardess.

The afternoon

A four-hour cruise out of the marina at Santa Cruz, north-east along a coast most visitors never see, to Playa de las Teresitas and the bay at Antequera. Antequera has no road to it: you get there by boat or you walk a long way. There are stops to swim.

The night

You stay on board. The evening is yours on deck, and dinner is arranged with the crew, either aboard or at a restaurant nearby. Cocktails, snacks and the minibar are in the price, so there is no bill at the end of it.

Getting there

A car collects you anywhere on the island and takes you back the next day, which matters more than it sounds: Santa Cruz is an hour and a half from the southern resorts where most people stay.
