Gulliver yacht charter in Tenerife: a private day at sea from Puerto Colón
The Gulliver is a 20-metre private yacht you can charter from Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje, for up to 12 guests. The whole boat is yours, with a captain and waitress on board, food and unlimited drinks included, and water toys for all ages. You choose how long you are out: a 3.5, 5 or 7-hour charter, with daily departures and flexible start times.
What the charter is like
The yacht has a spacious deck, sun pads and plenty of room for a family or group. Once you anchor, you can swim, snorkel and use the water toys: an inflatable slide, paddleboards, kayaks, sea bikes, underwater scooters and snorkel gear are all on board. There is a sound system if you want to play your own music.
Choosing your trip length
The 3.5-hour charter is a relaxed coastal trip with time to swim and snorkel. The 5-hour charter gives you more time to cruise and anchor at quieter bays. The 7-hour charter sails out to the Los Gigantes cliffs, one of the island's best-known stretches of coast, with plenty of stops along the way.
Food, drinks and crew
A captain and a dedicated waitress run the trip. Gourmet food is served, with gluten-free options on request, and drinks are unlimited: soft drinks, beer, wine, sangria and cava. Seating is comfortable and there is space for every guest.
Departure and getting there
Charters leave from Puerto Colón, Pantalán 13, in the centre of Costa Adeje. Arrive 15 minutes before your departure time, and there is parking at the port. Your boarding pass works on your phone or printed out. You select your departure time during booking.
Booking and cancellation
Booking ahead usually gets you a better price. You can cancel free up to 7 days before your charter. Within 7 days, or for no-shows, the booking is non-refundable, and a 3% payment processing fee is non-refundable in any case. If the skipper calls it off for weather, you can move to another date or take a full refund.

Alejandro and Roma were on hand the whole time, which we appreciated. The service was very good and the trip entertaining from start to finish. I recommend it.

It was a present for my boyfriend and he was thrilled. Alex went through the history of the area, took good care of us and even suggested we kiss for the photo in the cave of love. The food is wonderful, there are things to do in the water, and we saw dolphins and turtles.

I booked the Gulliver Yacht a few months ago for my girlfriends 30th but also for an engagement/ proposal. The team were very helpful and responded to all my questions quickly, everything I requested e.g. roses and champagne - they sorted behind the scenes and did a brilliant job of keeping it discreet. On the day the captain and crew were 10/10 for service and just making the experience the best it possibly could. The views and activities were fantastic and I would honestly recommend it to anybody - groups or small party! Thanks again team you made everything run so smoothly and thankfully she said yes aha! We will definitely be booking when we come back in the future!
Alex and Nic, the captain, went out of their way for us at every turn. The water sports were superb, we saw turtles and dolphins, the food was lovely and our glasses never stayed empty. A dream of a day in Tenerife.
My wife and I had the boat to ourselves, and despite its size it still felt private. Both crew were excellent, the food and drink were good, and between the paddle board, the sea bike, the canoe and the slide there was plenty to try. Lovely photos too, with the town and mountains behind.
We turned up in the wrong place and they waited for us anyway. Alex and Pablo kept an eye on us the whole time, told us a thousand things and made us feel comfortable. The boat is well looked after and there is plenty to do at the swimming stop.

Every minute of it was good. Alex and Pablo were fun and looked after us, we watched a beautiful sunset, worked our way through the water activities and were given a delicious lunch. I would go again tomorrow.
A luxury experience. Sailing privately along the coast was very relaxing, with spectacular views and excellent service.

Andrea, the captain, knows his job and could not be more helpful; Javi is better company than most and cooked us a dinner to remember on board. Cold drinks, every water activity you can think of and even an enormous slide: if you pass through Tenerife, do it.
