Private sailboat charter from Golf del Sur

A Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 with a skipper, hired whole out of Marina San Miguel, the harbour between Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf on the south coast. Up to eight guests, and you book the whole boat, so two of you or eight is the same booking.

There are three hours to take, either from 10:00 or from 14:00, or a full day of six hours from 10:00. An extra hour can be added to either.

This is a sailing boat. When the wind is there the engine goes off and the run down the coast is done under canvas, which is a different afternoon from the motor cruisers that leave the same pontoon.

On board

The cockpit is laid in teak around a wheel, with a sprayhood and a bimini over it for shade, and a bathing platform with a ladder at the stern for getting in and out of the water.

Below deck there is a saloon in teak joinery with a table that seats the group, and a galley with a twin sink and a two-burner hob with an oven, so a six-hour day does not depend on what you managed to carry aboard.

Fuel is included, along with water, soft drinks and beer, and something to eat. On the full day there is cava as well, and the snack becomes lunch.

Fishing from the boat

Bait and tackle come aboard with either charter, so the booking that starts as a sail can turn into a morning fishing without arranging anything separately. Everything else stays the same: the same eight places, the same slots, the same drinks and snack.

Where it leaves from

Marina San Miguel, in San Miguel de Abona, on the south coast of Tenerife, a few minutes from the hotels of Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf and Costa del Silencio. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure time. There is parking at the marina.
