The Passing Winds runs private charters from Puerto Colón, in Costa Adeje. The boat takes up to eleven guests, which is more than most private charters on this coast, and it is never shared: the price covers the whole boat, so a group of eleven pays the same as a group of four.

How long you can book it for

Charters are booked by the hour, from a minimum of two hours up to a full twelve-hour day. Two or three hours is enough for the coast in front of Costa Adeje and a swim stop; a longer charter lets you work your way west towards Los Gigantes, or simply spend the day on the water without watching the clock.

What is on board

Tapas-style food is included, along with soft drinks, beer, wine and water. The captain comes with the boat, so nobody in your group needs a licence or any sailing experience: you turn up, and the crew handles the rest.

Departure and getting there

The boat leaves from Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje. There is no fixed timetable: the departure time is agreed with you when you book. Arrive at least 15 minutes early, and note that parking is available at the port.

Booking and cancellation

Confirmation is digital, so your booking can be shown on your phone. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before. Late cancellations are subject to a fee. If the sea is unsuitable on the day, you can reschedule or take a full refund.
