Teide Half-Day Jeep Safari: a morning 4x4 tour of the national park
This jeep safari is a half-day trip into Teide National Park in an all-terrain 4x4, with an experienced multilingual driver. It suits families, couples and small groups, with up to 8 people per jeep. The tour lasts about 5 hours and runs Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 09:00 to 13:30.
What you see on the tour
The route climbs from the south coast through Arona and the highland village of Vilaflor, with stops at the Mirador de la Escalona and Mirador de Gran Canaria viewpoints, into Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside the park you take in Pico Viejo's multicoloured crater and the Roques de Garcia rock formations. The return leg passes through Chirche, Aripe and Guia de Isora on the way back to the coast.
How the day runs
The tour runs Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 09:00 to 13:30. You travel in a 4x4 jeep as part of a small convoy, with the driver guiding the group. Tours are run in Spanish, English, German, French, Italian and Dutch.

Free hotel pick-up and drop-off is included from your accommodation or a nearby point in the Playa de las Americas area, and you choose your pick-up location during booking. Food and drinks are not included, so bring water and something to eat, along with a jacket or layers for the higher altitude, comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen.
