Full description
A full-day guided bus tour around the island of Tenerife
This Tenerife island tour is a full-day guided bus trip that loops the whole island in around 8 hours, with free hotel pickup and drop-off. You travel by comfortable coach with a guide and stop at six of Tenerife's best-known places, from the cliffs of the west coast to the historic towns of the north. It runs on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
What you see along the way
The route takes in six stops. You start at the Los Gigantes Cliffs on the west coast, then take in the view from the Mirador de Garachico. In Icod de los Vinos you stand next to the Millennial Dragon Tree, a natural monument that is hundreds of years old. La Orotava brings Canarian architecture, including the Casa de los Balcones. There is free time in Puerto de la Cruz for sightseeing, shopping and lunch, and a final stop in Candelaria, home to the patron saint of the Canary Islands.
What is included
The price covers coach travel across Tenerife, hotel pickup and drop-off, and a guide who speaks English, Spanish, German and French throughout the day. Lunch is not included: you eat during the break in Puerto de la Cruz, where there are several places to choose from. Bring layers, as you pass through a range of climates across the island, and keep your ticket on your phone or printed for the day.
Pickup and how it works
The tour is door to door. You choose your pickup point and time during booking, so check that your accommodation details are correct before you confirm. The coach collects you in the morning and drops you back at the end of the day. Tours run with a guide.

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour for a full refund. Groups get longer windows: 48 hours for 5 to 7 people, 4 days for 8 to 14, and 6 days for groups of 15 or more. Group discounts are available on request. If you find it cheaper elsewhere, our price match policy applies. You can see more bus tours on the Guided Bus Tour page.

Reviews
Write a reviewDid the Tenerife bus tour, man the views at those Los Gigantes cliffs were so cool, and checking out Candelaria at the end was nice too. Good way to see a bunch of the island without driving yourself.
Just did the bus tour around Tenerife, the views from the mirador in Garachico were so pretty, took tons of pics. Whole day was fun seeing different parts of the island.
The lunch break in Puerto de la Cruz was a nice touch, had time to explore and grab some good food. Nice way to discover parts of the island I wouldn't have found on my own.
Really liked the stop at the dragon tree, that thing is massive. A very easy way to see so much of the island in a day.
Great experience, we visited multiple spots on the island, but one of my favorites was the Los Gigantes cliff. Truly majestic.
It was easy to book our guided tour with CanaryVIP. The bus was clean and the guide was very knowledgeable about Tenerife.
