The OLÉ flamenco show in Tenerife: a live evening at GF Victoria
The OLÉ flamenco show in Tenerife is a live evening of singing, guitar and dance held every Thursday at the GF Victoria Hotel in Costa Adeje. It is directed by Fran Chafino and runs for about 90 minutes, with a 15-minute intermission. The programme moves through different flamenco styles, from bulerías to alegrías, so the rhythm and mood change across the night.
What to expect
The performance combines cante (singing), toque (guitar) and baile (dance). It mixes traditional flamenco with more contemporary choreography. The show takes place in the Las Olas showroom, an indoor venue, so it runs whatever the weather. Audience members watch rather than take part in the dancing.
Choosing your seats
There are two seating zones. Gold tickets give entry with a clear view of the stage. Platinum tickets sit closer to the stage and include a glass of wine and light snacks. Group discounts are available, and you can pick your zone at checkout.
Timings, venue and getting there
Doors open at 20:15, the show starts at 21:00, and the evening ends by 22:30. The venue is the GF Victoria Hotel in Costa Adeje. Enter through the door on the left side of the hotel's main entrance to reach the showroom. Parking is available at the Plaza del Duque shopping centre, a short walk away. Smart casual dress is recommended: jeans with a smart top are fine, but sports attire and shorts are discouraged.
Booking and cancellation
Booking ahead secures your seats. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the show. Groups of more than six can cancel free up to four days before, and cancellations made 2 to 4 days before receive a 50% refund. No-shows are non-refundable. You can tell when a show has been built so the audience enjoys every minute: the room, the dance company, the guitar, the percussion, the singing, the costumes and the lighting all fit. Fran owns the stage every time he walks on. Whenever I am back in Tenerife, I will be going again.

The room is elegant and well looked after, and the show is genuinely a good one. The dancers are excellent at what they do.

This was not my first time and I still find new details: a story runs through the different flamenco styles, and the costumes and lighting are worked out to the millimetre. The guitar is exceptional, the singing lovely, and you cannot look away from Fran or from Silvia. We are lucky to have this in the south of Tenerife.

La guitarra es excepcional y la voz de la cantante, preciosa; de Fran y de Silvia no puedes apartar la vista. Suerte tenemos de verlo en el sur de Tenerife.
The show is excellent. The one regret is that you cannot take photos or film during the performance, which is a shame.

A fabulous show and well worth going to see. We took the upgrade, which puts you closer to the stage and comes with a glass of wine and a small cheese plate; the cheese and crackers were the one letdown, and the only thing I would complain about.
I was not a flamenco fan before this and now I am, which says everything. The venue is good, the staff are lovely, and watching Fran is a treat on its own. If you are in Tenerife, go.
