La Gomera jeep safari: a full-day trip from Tenerife
This jeep safari is a full-day trip from Tenerife to neighbouring La Gomera, the green island next door. You cross by ferry to San Sebastian de La Gomera, then drive the island in a small group of up to 8 passengers per jeep. The whole day takes around 9 hours and runs Monday to Saturday. A Canarian lunch is included, and the guide leads the trip in one of seven languages.
What you see on the day
The route takes in Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient laurel forests, and the calm setting of Laguna Grande inside the park. You also stop in Hermigua, with its palm groves, the cobbled village of Agulo above the Atlantic, and the island capital San Sebastian de La Gomera, where you get some free time to walk the streets on your own.

The price covers return hotel pick-up and drop-off in Tenerife, the return ferry between the two islands, the guided jeep safari, and a Canarian lunch with local tastings at a local restaurant. Tours run in Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, Dutch and Polish.
Pick-up and what to bring
Pick-up and drop-off are from your accommodation or a nearby point in Puerto de la Cruz or Playa de las Americas, and you choose your pick-up point during booking. You will need a valid passport to board the ferry: without it you cannot travel and no refund is possible, so keep it with you on the day. Bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a light jacket for the cooler forest.

Booking is confirmed instantly. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the activity for a full refund. No-shows are non-refundable. If the tour cannot run because of unsafe weather, you can move to another day or take a full refund.
