Guided dives in Tenerife for certified divers

If you hold an Open Water certification or higher, these are your dives: boat dives from Los Cristianos to the sites along the south coast of Tenerife, with an instructor guiding the group and all equipment provided. They run every day, starting in the morning.

The dive sites

The boat leaves Los Cristianos for sites such as Palm Mar, a short ride along the coast. On a dive you can see rays, turtles, octopuses, moray eels, barracuda and many kinds of fish. Water temperature sits between 18 and 25°C through the year and visibility is usually 15 to 30 metres, so the dives run in every season.

What is included and what to bring

The price covers full diving equipment (wetsuit, mask, fins and tank), a guided dive with experienced instructors, and lockers for your belongings. Guides speak English and Spanish. If you have your own gear, you are welcome to dive with it. Bring your certification card, a swimsuit and flip-flops, and an underwater camera if you like, at your own risk. Pick-up and drop-off across southern Tenerife can be added during booking for a small fee.

Diving with someone who is not certified

They can join the same boat on a try dive in Tenerife, which needs no licence and no experience. And if they want to get certified, the same school runs the PADI Open Water course in Tenerife over two to three days.

Booking and cancellation

You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your dive for a full refund. If the sea is not safe to dive, you can rebook or take a refund.
