Crazy UFO and Twister in Tenerife: a high-speed water ride
The Crazy UFO is a towable inflatable ride and one of the quickest water sports in Tenerife to try. It departs from Pantalán 4 at Puerto Colón in the south of the island, near Costa Adeje, and runs with RADIKAL. A boat tows the UFO out, and it spins, glides and jumps over the waves for 15 minutes. Up to 8 riders go at once, so it works for couples, families and groups of friends. No experience is needed, and the crew run a safety briefing before you set off.
What the ride is like
You hold on while the boat pulls the inflatable across the open water, picking up speed and bouncing over the swell. The full ride lasts 15 minutes. As you go you get a clear view of the coastline along Playa de las Américas and the Atlantic. It is built for fun rather than skill, so first-timers and regulars both get the same ride.

The price covers 15 minutes on the Crazy UFO inflatable, life jackets and safety gear for everyone, and a briefing from the crew. Professional staff stay with you throughout. Photos of your ride are available to buy on the day if you want them. You wear a life jacket the whole time, so you do not need to be able to swim.
Where it leaves from
Rides depart with RADIKAL from Pantalán 4 at Puerto Colón, one of the main harbours in the south of Tenerife. It is easy to reach and sits close to the beaches of Costa Adeje. There are secure storage areas at the port where you can leave your belongings during the ride. You choose your time slot during booking.
Who can ride and what to bring
The minimum age is usually 10, so ask before booking if you are unsure. Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen, and come ready to get wet. You can combine it with other water activities in the same area, such as jet ski rides, parasailing or boat tours.
