The Utopia pool party at Monkey Beach Club
A six-hour party around the pool at Monkey Beach Club in Playa de las Américas, run by Utopia Parties. It goes on Fridays and Mondays, 12:00 to 18:00, and the latest entry is 14:00.
What happens
Utopia's resident DJs hold the decks through the afternoon, with guest DJs, vocalists and MCs dropping in. Around them there are male and female dancers, live saxophonists and percussionists working the crowd, so the music is played at you as much as to you.
Everyone gets a glass of cava on the way in.
Choosing a ticket
Four ways in, and they change the day quite a lot.
Entry only puts you in the party with the cava and nothing reserved. The standard ticket adds a table and chairs plus credit to spend at the club. Premium is a poolside bed for two people with a bigger credit, which is the one that turns the afternoon into a sit-down. The VIP table seats up to twelve and runs from 12:00 to 16:00.
Any credit that comes with your ticket works on both food and drink. The booking panel shows the current price for each on the date you pick.
Before you book
These parties normally sell out one to two weeks ahead, so this is not one to leave until the day. Bring swimwear, a towel, sun cream, photo ID and your ticket on your phone.
And the fixed point of the day: be there by 14:00. After that your place can go to the stand-by list.
