Jungle Park Tenerife tickets: an animal park and botanical garden in Chayofa

Jungle Park is a wildlife park and botanical garden in Chayofa, in the south of Tenerife. A ticket gives you a full day among primates, big cats, penguins, sea lions, meerkats and reptiles, set across a landscaped jungle. Booking ahead with CanaryVIP gives you a faster entry than buying on arrival, and a free shuttle bus runs daily from the southern resorts. The park is open every day from 10:00 to 17:30.

What you can see and do

The park is home to a wide range of animals. In the primate area there are orangutans, gibbons and capuchins, and the big cat enclosures hold leopards and jaguars. You can also see penguins, sea lions, meerkats, raccoons and a reptile collection that includes snakes, turtles, crocodiles and caimans. Two shows are included with entry: the bird of prey show at 12:30 and the sea lion show at 13:30. There are walking routes through the park and a bobsled run.

Getting there and the free shuttle

Jungle Park is in Chayofa, near Los Cristianos. A free daily shuttle bus serves the southern resorts, with stops in Costa Adeje, Playa de Las Américas and Los Cristianos. Morning pick-ups start at around 09:30, and the return runs at 16:30 and 17:30. You choose your nearest pick-up stop during booking. Shuttle seats are limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis, so it helps to arrive at the stop early.

What to bring

Bring sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes and water, since you will be outdoors and on your feet for much of the day. A camera is worth packing for the animals and the gardens. There are places to eat and drink inside the park.
