Tour in barca Freebird One a Tenerife: avvistamento balene e delfini
Il Freebird One è un catamarano che naviga lungo la costa sud di Tenerife per osservare balene e delfini in natura. È una delle gite in barca a Tenerife più apprezzate e parte ogni giorno da Puerto Colón a Costa Adeje. Si sceglie tra tre durate diverse, tutte con bevande e cibo illimitati a bordo e un equipaggio multilingue che indica la fauna marina durante la navigazione.
Quale tour scegliere
Sono disponibili tre opzioni. Il tour di 2 ore si svolge lunedì, mercoledì e venerdì alle 11:00, con bevande illimitate e una sosta per nuotare nella protetta Baia di El Duque (questo tour non include il trasporto). Il tour mattutino di 3 ore parte ogni giorno alle 10:00 e abbina l'avvistamento di delfini e balene a una sosta per nuotare. Il tour pomeridiano di 4,5 ore parte ogni giorno alle 13:00 e si spinge fino alle scogliere di Los Gigantes e alla baia di Masca, con pranzo incluso.
Cosa è incluso a bordo
Ogni tour include bevande illimitate: acqua, bibite, birra e sangria. Vengono serviti panini, con opzione vegetariana su richiesta, e il tour pomeridiano include anche il pranzo. Per maggiore comodità, è possibile aggiungere un lettino balinese solo all'imbarco per 25€ per lettino, salvo disponibilità (non è prenotabile in anticipo). L'equipaggio è multilingue e fornisce informazioni sui globicefali, sui delfini e sull'ambiente marino locale durante la navigazione.
Partenza e come arrivare
Il catamarano parte dal Molo 10 di Puerto Colón. Il trasferimento gratuito dall'hotel è incluso nei tour di 3 ore e di 4,5 ore da alcune località del sud di Tenerife; si sceglie il punto di raccolta durante la prenotazione. È anche possibile recarsi direttamente a Puerto Colón. In entrambi i casi, presentarsi almeno 10 minuti prima della partenza.
Prenotazione e cancellazione
È possibile cancellare o modificare la prenotazione gratuitamente fino a 48 ore prima del tour. Se le condizioni meteorologiche o del mare non consentono di svolgere il tour in sicurezza, viene offerta un'altra data o un rimborso completo. Si noti che il mal di mare non è un motivo valido per un rimborso una volta iniziato il tour, quindi prendere le precauzioni necessarie se si è soggetti.

Salió una travesía preciosa, con su baño y sus ballenas, pero lo que nos ganó fue el trato: al peque lo trataron como si fuera el capitán del barco. Gracias a Luis, a Edu y a Andre. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo.
Dolphins, whales and turtles all turned up, and we stopped at a beach for a swim. Soft drinks, beer and sangria came with it, and there was music and singing going on the whole way. The staff made it. Recommended if you are visiting.
I had worried about getting on and off the catamaran, and it turned out to be no trouble at all. No seasickness either, though I did take a tablet first. Pilot whales came close by; no dolphins, but nobody had promised those. Good crew, and a trip I would recommend.

The four of us went out on the boat and it was the best day of the holiday, no contest. The staff were attentive and clearly knew their whales. Roberto and his crew were brilliant with our two, even letting them take the wheel.

Die Crew an Bord war gut drauf, Kapitän Denny ist ein Spaßvogel. Unterwegs haben wir einen Vogel gerettet, dazu Delfine und einen Wal gesehen. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.
My kid took a turn at the wheel and the food was excellent. Pilot whales came by, the cliffs were something else, and the swim was chilly but fine once you were in. Pick a clear, sunny day if you can; the seats are comfortable and the crew looked after us.
Friendly, well-informed crew who could not have been more gracious, and the catamaran itself was clean and properly stocked. All round it was a good outing.
Pilot whales showed up on our short sailing, though the dolphins stayed away that day. The staff were so friendly that they made it special anyway.
