La nave pirata Peter Pan a Tenerife: avvistamento balene e delfini in mare
La nave pirata Peter Pan è una tradizionale goletta portoghese che salpa da Los Cristianos per l'avvistamento di balene e delfini lungo la costa sud di Tenerife. Parte tre volte al giorno ed è adatta a famiglie, amici e coppie. La nave ha due bagni, un salone ombreggiato con un grande tavolo centrale e un ponte superiore per stare al sole mentre si naviga sull'Atlantico.
Come si svolge il tour in barca
Il giro standard dura 2 ore. Si dirige verso uno dei migliori punti delle Isole Canarie per delfini selvatici e balene pilota, che vivono in queste acque tutto l'anno. In date selezionate è disponibile un tour di 3 ore: parte alle 10:00, include una sosta per nuotare vicino alle riserve marine di Palm-Mar o La Caleta, e comprende il pranzo. Controlla il calendario delle prenotazioni per le date in cui è disponibile la versione da 3 ore.
Cibo e bevande a bordo
Nel tour di 2 ore cibo e bevande non sono inclusi ma si possono acquistare a bordo. Il tour di 3 ore include il pranzo: riso con verdure, polpette, insalata, pane e frutta fresca, più acqua e bibite, con birra e vino serviti durante il pasto.
Partenza e come arrivare
La nave parte dal porto di Los Cristianos, punto centrale nel sud di Tenerife. Il pickup gratuito dal sud di Tenerife è disponibile e si sceglie il punto di ritiro durante la prenotazione. Si prega di arrivare al porto almeno 30 minuti prima dell'orario di partenza per un imbarco senza problemi.
Prenotazione e cancellazione
Le partenze sono ogni giorno alle 10:00, 12:00 e 14:00, con spazio per fino a 60 persone, quindi prenotare in anticipo assicura il posto. La cancellazione è gratuita se effettuata più di 48 ore prima della partenza, e la scadenza indicata al momento della prenotazione è quella che conta. Entro le 48 ore o in caso di mancata presentazione non è previsto rimborso. Se l'operatore cancella per maltempo o altri motivi, si riceve un rimborso completo o la possibilità di riprogrammare.

Only pilot whales came out, but it was still well worth it. The crew, and Isi in particular, were splendid: very kind, and they explained everything we were seeing.
Solo salieron calderones, pero aun así valió muchísimo la pena. La tripulación, e Isi en particular, estuvo espléndida: muy amables y explicando todo lo que íbamos viendo.
The whole family got something out of it. Dolphins, pilot whales, a hammerhead shark and even a turtle came past, and the crew are lovely, giving the commentary in three languages: Spanish, English and French. Do it without a second thought.

I went with two teenage girls and found it well run from the off. The crew were funny, professional and looked after anyone feeling queasy, and everything was explained in several languages. Whales and dolphins showed up, and there was still a swim stop.
Pilot whales, turtles, dolphins and a shark all came into view, and there was still time for a swim. The crew knew their subject and looked after every one of us. A good one to do as a family.
A pleasant outing that respects the animals: no chasing them down for a photo, you wait for the whales to show up on their own without disturbing them. The crew are also very nice.

We did see dolphins, but no whales, which were asleep according to the crew. Two orcas came right past the boat, though, and later two turtles, and the pirate theme on board with the matching music made it extra fun. The sea was rough, so you need to be able to handle that.

A very good time at sea with an attentive crew. Chris speaks several languages and passes on his feeling for the ocean and for protecting it. Turtles, dolphins and pilot whales all showed, plus a swim in beautiful water.

The boat is a Portuguese schooner well over a century old, and the crew kept feeding us facts about what we were seeing. Pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, and then Atlantic spotted dolphins that came to play at the bow. There was a short swim as well.
We had such a fun day on the Peter Pan Pirate Ship! The kids loved the pirate theme, and the crew was really entertaining. We saw dolphins and whales, which was amazing.
She has a character the modern charter boats simply cannot match, and she is a good deal older than any of them. Xavier in particular told us about the pilot whales with humour and real interest, and when one came close he was careful not to crowd her. Our children loved it.

Three dolphins came right up alongside the boat and that moment alone was worth it; a turtle went past too. The guides are young, funny and clear in what they tell you, and you can see how much they care about their work and about respecting the ocean.
