Freebird One -veneretki Teneriffalla: valas- ja delfiinienkatseluretki
Freebird One on katamaraani, joka purjehtii Teneriffan etelärannikolla katsomassa valaita ja delfiineitä luonnossa. Se on yksi Teneriffan suosituimmista veneretkeistä ja lähtee joka päivä Puerto Colónista Costa Adejessa. Voit valita kolmesta retken pituudesta, kaikissa on tarjolla rajattomat juomat ja ruoka laivalla sekä monikielinen miehistö, joka kertoo merien eliöistä matkan aikana.
Minkä retken tulisi valita
Tarjolla on kolme vaihtoehtoa. 2 tunnin retki lähtee maanantaisin, keskiviikkoisin ja perjantaisin klo 11:00, rajattomat juomat mukaan lukien ja uintipysähdyksellä suojaisalla El Duque Bayllä (ei kuljetusta). 3 tunnin aamuretki lähtee päivittäin klo 10:00 ja yhdistää delfiini- ja valaankatselun uintipysähdykseen. 4,5 tunnin iltapäiväretki lähtee päivittäin klo 13:00 ja purjehtii Los Gigantes -kallioille ja Mascan lahdelle, lounas sisältyen.
Mitä laivalla on tarjolla
Jokaiselle retkelle kuuluu rajattomat juomat: vesi, virvoitusjuomat, olut ja sangria. Voileipiä tarjoillaan, ja vegetaarinen vaihtoehto on saatavilla pyydettäessä, ja iltapäiväretkeen kuuluu myös lounas. Jos haluat lisämukavuutta, voit päivittää balineesitasolle vain laivaan saavuttaessa hintaan 25 € per laitos, saatavuuden mukaan (ei varattavissa etukäteen). Miehistö on monikielinen ja kertoo valaista, delfiineistä ja paikallisesta merielämästä matkan aikana.
Lähtö ja sinne pääseminen
Katamaraani lähtee laituripaikalta 10 Puerto Colónissa. Ilmainen hotellinouto ja -palautus sisältyy 3 tunnin ja 4,5 tunnin retkiin valituista kohteista Etelä-Teneriffalla. Noutopaikka valitaan varauksen yhteydessä. Halutessasi voit myös mennä suoraan Puerto Colóniin. Saavu joka tapauksessa vähintään 10 minuuttia ennen lähtöä.
Varaus ja peruutus
Voit peruuttaa tai muuttaa varauksen maksutta 48 tuntia ennen retkeä. Jos sää- tai meriolosuhteet eivät mahdollista retken turvallista toteuttamista, sinulle tarjotaan vaihtoehtoista päivää tai täyttä hyvitystä. Huomaa, että merisairaus ei ole hyväksyttävä syy palautukseen, kun retki on jo alkanut, joten varaudu tarvittaessa etukäteen.

Salió una travesía preciosa, con su baño y sus ballenas, pero lo que nos ganó fue el trato: al peque lo trataron como si fuera el capitán del barco. Gracias a Luis, a Edu y a Andre. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo.
Dolphins, whales and turtles all turned up, and we stopped at a beach for a swim. Soft drinks, beer and sangria came with it, and there was music and singing going on the whole way. The staff made it. Recommended if you are visiting.
I had worried about getting on and off the catamaran, and it turned out to be no trouble at all. No seasickness either, though I did take a tablet first. Pilot whales came close by; no dolphins, but nobody had promised those. Good crew, and a trip I would recommend.
Hicimos la excursión a Los Gigantes en familia y no pudo salir mejor. Al ser los únicos españoles a bordo, Mirella se sentó con nosotros para contarnos en nuestro idioma lo que explicaba en los demás. Los niños encantados, comida rica, bebida sin límite y un baño en mar abierto espectacular.
The four of us went out on the boat and it was the best day of the holiday, no contest. The staff were attentive and clearly knew their whales. Roberto and his crew were brilliant with our two, even letting them take the wheel.

Die Crew an Bord war gut drauf, Kapitän Denny ist ein Spaßvogel. Unterwegs haben wir einen Vogel gerettet, dazu Delfine und einen Wal gesehen. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.
My kid took a turn at the wheel and the food was excellent. Pilot whales came by, the cliffs were something else, and the swim was chilly but fine once you were in. Pick a clear, sunny day if you can; the seats are comfortable and the crew looked after us.
Friendly, well-informed crew who could not have been more gracious, and the catamaran itself was clean and properly stocked. All round it was a good outing.
Pilot whales showed up on our short sailing, though the dolphins stayed away that day. The staff were so friendly that they made it special anyway.
