La mini crociera a Isla de Lobos
Un'ora e un quarto sul Celia Cruz, un catamarano di 20 metri con 16 finestre panoramiche sott'acqua lungo lo scafo. L'equipaggio dà da mangiare ai pesci mentre li osservi attraverso i vetri, il momento in cui arrivano i banchi, e poi la barca si ancora al largo di Isla de Lobos per circa 30 minuti per fare snorkeling o nuotare in acque cristalline.
È inclusa una bevanda, e a bordo sono disponibili maschere e boccagli.
Il permesso di accesso
La crociera in sé non la richiede, ma se sbarchi su Isla de Lobos, prima o dopo, ti serve un'autorizzazione ufficiale per il parco naturale. È gratuita e la richiedi tu stesso su lobospass.com.
Tre modi per farlo
La crociera in sé si svolge sempre dalle 12:45 alle 14:00. Ciò che cambia è cosa fai intorno a essa.
Prendi il traghetto delle 9:45 o delle 11:00, passa la mattina camminando su Lobos, e sii al molo dell'isolotto alle 12:45 per unirti alla crociera. Alle 14:00 puoi sbarcare di nuovo o tornare direttamente a Corralejo.
Oppure sali direttamente sulla crociera alle 12:30 a Corralejo, e alle 14:00 sbarca per visitare l'isolotto, tornando con uno dei traghetti previsti.
Oppure fai solo la crociera e torna a Corralejo senza sbarcare.
Il prezzo
28 euro per gli adulti e 18 per i bambini per la sola crociera. Con il pullman dall'hotel sono 42 euro da Caleta de Fuste, El Cotillo, Origomare e Lajares, o 37 da Corralejo. I bebè pagano solo se occupano un posto sul pullman.
Il pullman è attivo in giorni fissi a seconda della zona: Caleta de Fuste il martedì, giovedì e domenica, El Cotillo, Origomare e Lajares il mercoledì, Corralejo il lunedì e il mercoledì.

Snorkelling in water that blue stays with you, and the team were friendly and looking out for us the whole time. One of the good ones.

The scenery out there is remarkable and the boat is comfortable. The snorkelling is enjoyable, though it does not last long. We had a mix-up with our reservation and the staff went out of their way to sort it.

A good day out: the meeting point was easy to find, the timings were kept, and the snorkelling from the boat off Lobos was worth it. The whole family got something out of it, at a fair price.

Sorting the island permit gave us no trouble, and at the quay the people were helpful and boarding was quick. Plenty of fun on the water and the time ashore was well spent; nobody is stationed on the island to check you in, but the boat back left punctually. I would travel with them again.
Leaving the port at Corralejo went smoothly, but the sea was rolling hard that particular day. Getting off at Lobos was no easy matter, and without the crew helping it would have been hard work.

A lovely boat, with glass set into the floor and fish drifting past below it. We picked this outing because as well as dropping you at Lobos it takes you snorkelling in striking water and includes a soft drink. The instructors were kind and good company.
El barco es una preciosidad y lleva cristaleras en el suelo por las que iban pasando los peces. Nos decidimos por esta salida porque, además de acercarte a Lobos, incluye un rato de snorkel en aguas impresionantes y un refresco. Los monitores fueron amables y muy agradables.
Comfortable ride over to Lobos, plenty of fun the whole way, and the people running it were good with us from start to finish.
The lads on board were lovely. You get a decent stretch to walk the island on your own, and if you have the snorkelling option they collect you, show you the coast from the water and then hand you a drink that comes with it. Well worth doing.
Los chicos que iban a bordo, muy majos. Te dejan un buen rato para recorrer la isla por tu cuenta y, si vas con el snorkel incluido, te recogen, te enseñan la costa desde el agua y luego te ponen un refresco incluido. Muy recomendable.
