Die Isla de Lobos Minikreuzfahrt
Eine Stunde und eine Viertelstunde auf der Celia Cruz, einem 20-Meter-Katamaran mit 16 Unterwasser-Sichtfenstern entlang des Rumpfs. Die Crew füttert die Fische, während Sie hindurchschauen, genau dann kommen die Schwärme, und danach ankert das Boot etwa 30 Minuten vor Isla de Lobos, damit Sie im klaren Wasser schnorcheln oder schwimmen können.
Ein Getränk ist inbegriffen, und Masken und Schnorchel sind an Bord.
Die Zugangserlaubnis
Für die Kreuzfahrt selbst brauchen Sie sie nicht, aber wenn Sie an Land gehen auf Isla de Lobos, egal ob davor oder danach, brauchen Sie eine offizielle Genehmigung für den Naturpark. Sie ist kostenlos, Sie beantragen sie selbst auf lobospass.com.
Drei Möglichkeiten
Die Kreuzfahrt selbst läuft immer von 12:45 bis 14:00. Was sich ändert, ist das, was Sie drumherum machen.
Nehmen Sie die Fähre um 9:45 oder 11:00, verbringen Sie den Vormittag mit Wandern auf Lobos, und seien Sie um 12:45 am Steg des Eilands, um in die Kreuzfahrt einzusteigen. Um 14:00 können Sie erneut an Land gehen oder direkt zurück nach Corralejo fahren.
Oder steigen Sie um 12:30 direkt in Corralejo in die Kreuzfahrt ein und gehen um 14:00 an Land, um das Eiland zu besuchen, mit Rückkehr auf einer der planmäßigen Fähren.
Oder machen Sie einfach die Kreuzfahrt und fahren ohne Anlegen nach Corralejo zurück.
Der Preis
28 Euro für Erwachsene und 18 für Kinder für die Fahrt allein. Mit Hotelbus sind es 42 Euro ab Caleta de Fuste, El Cotillo, Origomare und Lajares, oder 37 ab Corralejo. Babys zahlen nur, wenn sie einen Sitzplatz im Bus einnehmen.
Der Bus fährt je nach Zone an festen Tagen: Caleta de Fuste dienstags, donnerstags und sonntags, El Cotillo, Origomare und Lajares mittwochs, Corralejo montags und mittwochs.

Snorkelling in water that blue stays with you, and the team were friendly and looking out for us the whole time. One of the good ones.

The scenery out there is remarkable and the boat is comfortable. The snorkelling is enjoyable, though it does not last long. We had a mix-up with our reservation and the staff went out of their way to sort it.

A good day out: the meeting point was easy to find, the timings were kept, and the snorkelling from the boat off Lobos was worth it. The whole family got something out of it, at a fair price.

Sorting the island permit gave us no trouble, and at the quay the people were helpful and boarding was quick. Plenty of fun on the water and the time ashore was well spent; nobody is stationed on the island to check you in, but the boat back left punctually. I would travel with them again.
Leaving the port at Corralejo went smoothly, but the sea was rolling hard that particular day. Getting off at Lobos was no easy matter, and without the crew helping it would have been hard work.

A lovely boat, with glass set into the floor and fish drifting past below it. We picked this outing because as well as dropping you at Lobos it takes you snorkelling in striking water and includes a soft drink. The instructors were kind and good company.
El barco es una preciosidad y lleva cristaleras en el suelo por las que iban pasando los peces. Nos decidimos por esta salida porque, además de acercarte a Lobos, incluye un rato de snorkel en aguas impresionantes y un refresco. Los monitores fueron amables y muy agradables.
Comfortable ride over to Lobos, plenty of fun the whole way, and the people running it were good with us from start to finish.
The lads on board were lovely. You get a decent stretch to walk the island on your own, and if you have the snorkelling option they collect you, show you the coast from the water and then hand you a drink that comes with it. Well worth doing.
Los chicos que iban a bordo, muy majos. Te dejan un buen rato para recorrer la isla por tu cuenta y, si vas con el snorkel incluido, te recogen, te enseñan la costa desde el agua y luego te ponen un refresco incluido. Muy recomendable.
