El barco pirata Peter Pan en Tenerife: avistamiento de ballenas y delfines en el mar
El barco pirata Peter Pan es una goleta portuguesa tradicional que sale de Los Cristianos para el avistamiento de ballenas y delfines a lo largo de la costa sur de Tenerife. Sale tres veces al día y es ideal para familias, amigos y parejas. El barco tiene dos aseos, un salón con sombra y una mesa central grande, además de una cubierta superior para disfrutar del sol mientras se navega por el Atlántico.
Cómo es el tour en barco
La excursión estándar dura 2 horas. Se dirige a uno de los mejores puntos de las Islas Canarias para ver delfines y calderones tropicales salvajes, que habitan estas aguas durante todo el año. En fechas seleccionadas hay disponible un tour de 3 horas: sale a las 10:00, incluye una parada para nadar cerca de las reservas marinas de Palm-Mar o La Caleta, y lleva almuerzo incluido. Comida y bebidas a bordo
En el tour de 2 horas, la comida y las bebidas no están incluidas pero se pueden comprar a bordo. El tour de 3 horas incluye almuerzo: arroz con verduras, albóndigas, ensalada, pan y fruta fresca, más agua y refrescos, con cerveza y vino servidos durante la comida.
Salida y cómo llegar
El barco sale del puerto de Los Cristianos, punto central en el sur de Tenerife. Hay recogida gratuita desde el sur de Tenerife y se elige el punto de recogida durante la reserva. Llegue al puerto al menos 30 minutos antes de su hora de salida para que el embarque transcurra sin problemas.
Reserva y cancelación
Las salidas son todos los días a las 10:00, 12:00 y 14:00, con espacio para hasta 60 personas, por lo que reservar con antelación asegura su plaza. La cancelación es gratuita con más de 48 horas de antelación, y la fecha límite que se muestra al reservar es la que cuenta. Con menos de 48 horas o en caso de no presentación no hay reembolso. Si el operador cancela por condiciones meteorológicas u otras causas, se le ofrece reembolso completo o cambio de fecha.

Only pilot whales came out, but it was still well worth it. The crew, and Isi in particular, were splendid: very kind, and they explained everything we were seeing.
Solo salieron calderones, pero aun así valió muchísimo la pena. La tripulación, e Isi en particular, estuvo espléndida: muy amables y explicando todo lo que íbamos viendo.
The whole family got something out of it. Dolphins, pilot whales, a hammerhead shark and even a turtle came past, and the crew are lovely, giving the commentary in three languages: Spanish, English and French. Do it without a second thought.

I went with two teenage girls and found it well run from the off. The crew were funny, professional and looked after anyone feeling queasy, and everything was explained in several languages. Whales and dolphins showed up, and there was still a swim stop.
Pilot whales, turtles, dolphins and a shark all came into view, and there was still time for a swim. The crew knew their subject and looked after every one of us. A good one to do as a family.
A pleasant outing that respects the animals: no chasing them down for a photo, you wait for the whales to show up on their own without disturbing them. The crew are also very nice.

We did see dolphins, but no whales, which were asleep according to the crew. Two orcas came right past the boat, though, and later two turtles, and the pirate theme on board with the matching music made it extra fun. The sea was rough, so you need to be able to handle that.

A very good time at sea with an attentive crew. Chris speaks several languages and passes on his feeling for the ocean and for protecting it. Turtles, dolphins and pilot whales all showed, plus a swim in beautiful water.

The boat is a Portuguese schooner well over a century old, and the crew kept feeding us facts about what we were seeing. Pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, and then Atlantic spotted dolphins that came to play at the bow. There was a short swim as well.

Three dolphins came right up alongside the boat and that moment alone was worth it; a turtle went past too. The guides are young, funny and clear in what they tell you, and you can see how much they care about their work and about respecting the ocean.
