A very pleasant morning: we started off trolling, enjoying the ride, and three bonito came in. Bottom fishing came next, and my children pulled up a pile of fish that they let go again, having a great time with it. The crew know their business and helped us with everything.

Mañana muy agradable: empezamos al curricán, disfrutando del paseo, y cayeron tres bonitos. Después, con la pesca de fondo, mis hijos sacaron un montón de peces que soltaron y se lo pasaron en grande. La tripulación sabe lo que hace y nos echó una mano con todo.

A lovely morning fishing as a family: Jesus is very friendly and takes the time to explain everything, and on top of that we came across dolphins.

I went out twice, morning and afternoon, with Jesús: the years show in the way he runs the boat and works the rods. At one point he had seven of them in the water at once without a tangle. We took four good-sized wahoo home; I will do it again.

Salí dos veces, por la mañana y por la tarde, con Jesús: se le notan los años, tanto llevando el barco como con las cañas. Llegó a tener siete en el agua a la vez sin que se enredaran. Nos llevamos cuatro petos de buen tamaño; repetiré.

Antonio and Riccardo put us at ease from the first minute: real people, well prepared, with a love of the sea that rubs off. We landed several small tuna, with plenty of fights and laughter on board, and everything was organised down to the last detail. For deep-sea fishing in Tenerife, this is the one.

Antonio e Riccardo ci hanno messo a nostro agio dal primo minuto: gente vera, preparata, con una passione per il mare che si attacca. Abbiamo preso diversi tonnetti, tra combattimenti e risate a bordo, con l'organizzazione curata in ogni dettaglio. Per chi vuole la pesca d'altura a Tenerife, è la scelta.

I came along as a non-angler because my husband wanted to fish, and still came away with plenty of lovely moments. Whales and sea turtles turned up as well. Many thanks to the crew.

Ich bin als Nichtanglerin mitgefahren, weil mein Mann angeln wollte, und habe trotzdem viele schöne Momente mitgenommen. Wale und Meeresschildkröten haben wir auch gesehen. Vielen Dank an die Crew.

We took our five and six year olds out privately with Jésus, who is glad to share what he knows. We got mahi mahi and bonito aboard and picked out dolphins and pilot whales for ourselves. It went so well that we came back for more, and that time the line suddenly ran: a blue marlin.

Met onze kinderen van vijf en zes gingen we privé de zee op met Jésus, die zijn passie en kennis graag deelt. We kregen mahi mahi en bonito aan boord en zagen zelf ook grienden en dolfijnen. Het beviel zo goed dat we nog een keer meegingen, en toen liep ineens de lijn uit: een blauwe marlijn.
