We went out for the pilot whales and it all came together: a comfortable boat and views of the sea and the island that make you want to stay put. Dolphins came leaping past and a turtle as well, and it finished with a swim and lunch. Fabricio explained everything with real enthusiasm.

Fuimos a ver calderones y salió redondo: el barco es cómodo, con unas vistas del mar y de la isla que dan ganas de no moverse. Además de las ballenas, vimos delfines saltando y hasta una tortuga, y acabamos con un baño y la comida. Fabricio nos lo explicaba todo con pasión.

There were plenty of dolphins and a couple of whales as well. Fabrizio knows how to get a group going; with him on board it is easy and cheerful. Twelve of us went and there was room for everyone: you could walk about the boat freely, the drinks kept coming and lunch was good.

Дельфинов было много, а ещё нам попалась пара китов. Фабрицио умеет расшевелить компанию, с ним на борту легко и весело. Нас было двенадцать человек, места хватало всем: по лодке можно было спокойно ходить, напитков наливали вдоволь, а обед оказался вкусным.

A big, elegant, comfortable boat, and the whale watching does not disappoint. Lunch is varied and generous, with soft drinks and prosecco with no limit. Holding it all together is Fabrizio, who explains things properly and gets laughs in several languages.

Leti and Luis treated us from the first minute as though they had known us for years. The weather was not on our side, but we saw whales, stopped for a swim and enjoyed the coast. A calm sort of plan, good for switching off for a while.

Leti y Luis nos trataron desde el minuto uno como si nos conocieran de siempre. El día no acompañaba demasiado, pero vimos ballenas, paramos a bañarnos y disfrutamos de la costa. Un plan tranquilo, perfecto para desconectar un rato.

A thoroughly pleasant outing, with a very kind crew and food and drink in quantity. We crossed paths with two resident whale families.

Uscita davvero piacevole, con un equipaggio gentilissimo e cibo e bevande in quantità. Abbiamo incrociato due famiglie di balene residenti.

The afternoon outing worked out well, with friendly, attentive staff. After the pilot whales we headed for El Puertito beach for a swim and a plate of chicken with rice. With twelve on board it stayed calm, and we had a good time of it.

Sortie de l'après-midi très réussie, avec un personnel sympathique et attentif. Après les baleines pilotes, cap sur la plage d'El Puertito pour une baignade et un plat de poulet au riz. À douze à bord, l'ambiance restait tranquille et le moment a été agréable.

The outing splits into three parts: pilot whales at close range, which is a thrill, a swim stop in a quiet little cove, and a simple but good lunch on board, with drinks available. Fabrizio knows his subject and is easy to deal with. One tip: eat lightly beforehand, because the movement is noticeable once you are out.

L'uscita è divisa in tre momenti: i globicefali da vicino, che emozionano, la sosta per il bagno in una caletta tranquilla e il pranzo a bordo, semplice ma buono, con bevande a disposizione. Fabrizio è competente e disponibile. Un consiglio: mangiate leggero prima, perché al largo il movimento si sente.
