Kalima Kat Katamaran auf Teneriffa: private und geteilte Bootstouren
Der Kalima Kat ist ein moderner Katamaran, der Privatcharter und geteilte Bootstouren vom Süden Teneriffas aus anbietet. Er ist für bis zu 22 Passagiere zugelassen, was ungewöhnlich ist, da die meisten privaten Boote auf der Insel auf 12 Personen begrenzt sind. Das macht ihn zur guten Wahl für größere Gruppen, die zusammenbleiben möchten. Sie fahren ab Puerto Colón in Costa Adeje entlang der Südküste, mit Stopps zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln in ruhigen Buchten. Wal- und Delfinbeobachtungen sind auf diesem Küstenabschnitt häufig.
Wie die Tour abläuft
Sie können das Boot privat buchen oder einer 3-stündigen Gemeinschaftstour zu einem günstigeren Preis beitreten, die dieselbe Route fährt. Privatcharter laufen entweder 3 oder 6 Stunden. Die kürzere Tour führt entlang der Küste mit Stopps zum Schwimmen, Schnorcheln und Sonnenbaden. Die 6-Stunden-Option ist gemächlicher, besucht mehr Buchten und gibt Ihnen mehr Zeit im Wasser, was sich für Geburtstage, Heiratsanträge, Firmentage oder einen entspannten Ausflug eignet. Sonnenuntergangs-Touren sind ebenfalls verfügbar.
Was enthalten ist
Jede Tour umfasst Kapitän und Crew, Reiseversicherung und Schnorchelausrüstung. Die Verpflegung ist ebenfalls inklusive, mit drei Menüs zur Auswahl: einer Auswahl an Vorspeisen, einer Paella (Meeresfrüchte, Fleisch oder gemischt) oder einer vegetarischen Paella mit Salat. Ihre Gruppe wählt eines für den gesamten Charter. Die Getränke an Bord sind Erfrischungsgetränke, Bier, Weißwein, Cava und Wasser. Es gibt eine Toilette an Bord, was die längeren Charter für größere Gruppen komfortabler macht.
Abfahrt und Anreise
Die Touren starten am Puerto Colón, einem zentralen und leicht erreichbaren Hafen in Costa Adeje. Bitte erscheinen Sie 30 Minuten vor Abfahrt, damit der Check-in reibungslos verläuft. Tägliche Abfahrten sind um 09:30, 12:30 und 15:30 Uhr, außerdem Sonnenuntergangsfahrten. Eine Hotelabholung ist nicht inbegriffen, daher reisen Sie selbstständig zum Hafen an.
Was Sie mitbringen sollten und Wissenswertes
Bringen Sie Badekleidung, ein Handtuch, Sonnenbrille, Sonnencreme und einen Hut mit sowie in den kühleren Monaten eine leichte Jacke. Schnorchelausrüstung wird bereitgestellt. Die Crew kümmert sich am Tag um alles, wenn also während der Tour etwas auftaucht, können Sie direkt mit ihr sprechen.
Buchung und Stornierung
Sie können online buchen und erhalten sofort eine Bestätigung. Privatcharter sind mehr als 7 Tage vor Abfahrt vollständig erstattungsfähig; Gemeinschaftstouren sind mehr als 3 Tage vor Abfahrt vollständig erstattungsfähig. Danach und bei Nichterscheinen gibt es keine Erstattung. Wenn die Bedingungen unsicher sind, kann der Kapitän die Tour verschieben oder eine vollständige Rückerstattung anbieten. Fahrten, die auf Wunsch des Gastes vorzeitig abgebrochen werden, zum Beispiel wegen Seekrankheit, sind nicht erstattungsfähig.

Sixteen of us went out as a family and it turned into one of the high points of the holiday. Captain Maria deserves the credit: welcoming, professional and warm, she kept the whole thing relaxed and made sure every one of us had a day to remember. The rest of the crew were just as good.
The sailing was very pleasant and the skipper treated us wonderfully. There was no shortage of food or drink, which rounded the trip off nicely. I would do it again without thinking.

Maria was great, the boat was great and so was the food. My only wish is that we had been given a little longer in the water; otherwise it was spot on.

There were four of us, out hoping to see whales: we followed the coast towards the fish farms off Los Cristianos and came across two dolphins and a turtle. Each of us got a plate of chicken paella, tortilla and bread, drinks were unlimited, and the two women looking after us were friendly and spoke French.

A great trip with friendly people running it. If you are coming as a big group, this is the sort of thing I would point you towards.
The crew were as kind as they come, made sure nobody was left out and even had us helping to clear rubbish from the sea. A hammerhead came past close enough to see properly, and between the snorkelling and feeding the fish the children were busy the whole time. Good food and drink too.
The captain and crew were funny and knew their subject. We stopped at a small snorkelling spot where you can swim among the fish, and even under cloud it was worth it. The boat is comfortable to sit on and the food deserves a mention of its own.
The crew were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. If you are hesitating, it really is worth going. I recommend it.

We took the catamaran out for a stag do and could not have asked for more. The staff were friendly and attentive and kept everything running without a hitch, and the mood on board was excellent all day. Worth considering if you are planning something similar.

Miguel and Ikel were on board with us, the beer and the food were good, and we came across dolphins, a ray, a turtle and something that turned out to be squid eggs. Swimming and feeding the fish rounded it off, sunburn included. Best boat on the island as far as I am concerned.
A fine outing, with a crew who were kind and willing to help. A few whales and three dolphins showed themselves. Drinks were unlimited and the paella tasted good, if a little short on chicken; otherwise there is nothing to fault.

Friendly, easy-going staff who still know their job: Matteo checked everyone was alright and told us plenty about the animals and the island. Whales and turtles appeared, then we anchored in a pretty little bay for snorkelling and a seafood paella lunch. What makes it, though, is that the boat is clean and never overcrowded.
