I would avoid peak season, since even the fast pass lanes had waits, and I would love to come back when it is quieter. Late June was still a brilliant day for me and the kids. There is not a weak slide anywhere in it.

The best water park I have been to. Slides are superb, the grounds are clean and good-looking, and the staff were friendly. We picked a Wednesday and it was so quiet that we never queued for a single slide, and the wave pool alone is worth the trip.

Good fun for families with children of six and up; anything younger may struggle with some of it. My eldest daughter loved it. The restaurants inside have a decent spread of food, drinks and sweet things, and if the budget stretches to a fast track ticket, take it.

We came on a Sunday in February and skipped the fast pass, which turned out to be the right call: there was barely a queue anywhere. It filled up a little in the afternoon depending on the slide, but we still rode everything several times. The wave pool was great too.

We got round every ride, and there is plenty of adrenaline for children and grown-up children alike. December was busy but manageable, with short enough waits that I would not bother with the fast pass then. As a family of four with an eleven and a thirteen-year-old, it was the best day of the holiday.

With a toddler it is a mixed bag; the park is not really a fit for an eighteen-month-old, but the parts that worked were superb. My baby was thrilled with The Lost City, and the Mai Thai River was relaxing. Sawasdee disappointed, the Wave Palace suits older kids, and there is plenty of choice for eating.

A good waterpark, with a fair amount of queueing that comes with the territory. Lifeguards are everywhere, sunloungers are plentiful, and the staffed locker rooms put my mind at rest about our belongings. Food and drink did not cost much, the bus is free with a ticket, and the lazy river turned out to be my favourite part.
