Catamaranul Obycat, Gran Canaria
Patru ore din Muelle de Puerto Rico, iar barca este gândită pentru o zi de familie, nu pentru un tur de vizitare: un tobogan de apă de pe pupă direct în mare, o platformă plutitoare de plajă la oprirea de ancorare, echipament de snorkel la bord și paturi balineze pe care să te prăbușești după aceea.
Prânzul este mâncare adevărată: paella, salată, papas arrugadas cu mojo și fructe de sezon, cu bere, sangria, cava, băuturi răcoritoare și apă din belșug pe tot parcursul.
69 de euro pentru adulți și 45 pentru copii, iar transferul de la hotel este inclus în preț din cea mai mare parte a sudului insulei.
Cele patru moduri de a naviga
Croaziera comună are loc în fiecare zi, dimineața 10:00–14:00 sau după-amiaza 14:30–18:30. Este cea pe care o rezervă majoritatea oamenilor, și este excursia de familie descrisă mai sus.
Miercuri după-amiaza este doar pentru adulți, iar operatorul precizează regula clar: 16 ani și peste, fără excepții. Nu sunt copiii nimănui la bord, inclusiv ai tăi.
Luni după-amiaza este croaziera LGTB Friendly. Este o plecare de sine stătătoare, nu doar o etichetă pusă pe excursia de familie, și primești un mimosa de bun venit la îmbarcare.
Toate trei sunt aceeași barcă, aceeași rută, același prânz și același preț de 69 de euro. A patra variantă este să scoți barca de pe program cu totul: charterul privat este de la 2.247 de euro pentru cele patru ore, dimineața sau după-amiaza.
Cu copii mici
Vestele de salvare sunt disponibile chiar și în mărimi pentru bebeluși, iar cărucioarele sunt permise la bord, ceea ce nu este valabil pe orice barcă de pe această coastă. Anularea este gratuită cu până la 24 de ore înainte de plecare.

We are a family with three young children and the day turned out well. Alberto, the captain, and the crew are friendly and professional, and they kept an eye on the kids as much as on everyone else. For a good morning in the south of Gran Canaria, I would recommend it.

The mood on board was good straight away. It also helped that the pick-up and drop-off were part of the excursion; that made the day a good deal more relaxed. Not long after we set off, a group of dolphins came past.
De sfeer aan boord was meteen prima. Fijn was ook dat het ophalen en terugbrengen bij de excursie hoorde; dat maakte de dag een stuk relaxter. Vlak na vertrek kwam er al een groep dolfijnen langs.
No complaints from me. They talked us through the history of the coast we were passing, there was a break long enough to get in the water, and the food afterwards was superb. Good choice if you want a relaxed morning or afternoon; I would go again.
The shuttle across was where my little holiday-within-a-holiday started, and it stayed that way. Spotless catamaran, attentive and friendly crew, very good food and drink, and a trip that is relaxing and fun at the same time. Swimming and the slide were the parts I enjoyed most.
I have seen few boats kept as well or as clean as this one; the care shows in every detail. The crew are professional and kind, always watching that nothing slips, and from the first minute they make you feel welcome. A trip worth repeating.

The pick-up was on the dot. There were only a few of us on board, almost like a small private party, and the crew looked after every guest attentively. We will be coming back.
Abgeholt wurden wir auf die Minute genau. An Bord waren nur wenige Leute, fast wie im kleinen Kreis, und die Crew kümmerte sich aufmerksam um jeden Gast. Wir kommen wieder.
The crew are good fun and look after everyone on board, the seats and sunbeds are comfortable and there is no shortage of them, and the food and drink were nice. If you want a day on the water, a view of the coast and, with a bit of luck, dolphins, pick this one.
We picked this one because the group is small, ten of us in the end, and the catamaran is spectacular. The crew were attentive and professional and treated us like celebrities, the paella was delicious and you could drink whatever you liked. Well worth it, and thank you for a wonderful day.
An excursion to remember. The catamaran is huge, new and spotless, and there is no crew like them around here. We anchored off a beach well away from the other boats, the paella was very good, and I would recommend it to anyone.
Salida para no olvidar. El catamarán es enorme, nuevo y está impecable, y la tripulación no tiene comparación por esta zona. Fondeamos en una playa alejada del resto de barcos, la paella estaba muy buena y lo recomendaría a cualquiera.
